What is biomass energy?
Biomass energy is organic material made from plants and animals. It is stored energy from the sun in a process called photosynthesis. The suns energy is energy is passed on through the plants and to the animals that eat the plants and then to the people who eat the animals. Biomass energy is a renewable energy because you can always plant new trees,plants,and crops and waste will always exist. Some biomass fuels are wood , wood wastes, manure, and crops..png "external image biomass-diagram(1).png")
advantages
You can use it to power lights and power biodiesel cars and cow wastes can be used power homes.check out this video
Some advantages of biomass energy is that you can power a car using the waste and energy from the plants. There is alot more like it is a inexhaustible fuel source, and it is available throughout the world.
Disadvantages
Some disadvanteges are it could contribute a great deal to global warming and it is quite an expensive resourse to use. It is also a great contributer to global warming because it heats up the planet and pollutes the earth. You are also contributting to global warming if you are using a biodiesel car but that does not mean it is not a good resource to use.

This resource is used in every day life when you drive a biodiesel car, and you can use cow waste to power your own home. This resource also contrbutes to everyday life because if you see a biodiesel car on the way to work you go to work everyday so they are using good energy throughout their day. Cows if you are a farmer you will take care of your cows and clean up after them everyday and they are a great deal to biomass energy contributing electrical energy through their waste.
